![]() Not taking powers makes runes give you coin. Attempting a 'challenge run' of playing Dishonored 2 nonlethal without using powers makes it possibly easier! Originally posted by Quillithe:Little off topic, but I think Dishonored 2 is harder for one absurd reason. Let me know what you've succeeded with doing handicaps on yourself so far! Already read the thread and want to compliment Sergius with what he did, but we can all do the knife machette with practice, that's just Medium hardness. If going through the game with a machete was too boring, go zero weapons - grenades/mines only and beat the mission anyway. Are you able to kill Juliana just with a handgun and no trinkets? Good! Now, how about without trinkets and no slabs too!? Now we're talking a challenge. Yes, including, Juliana invasions into your game. For example: You are only allowed to use a 1-handed gun for the course of a full day of gaming. From there, edit your difficulty level (again manually) by trying different techniques. I did this in Bioshock, became an expert at it, and met 1 other person who could do the same thing. After that, you want to do this: Beat each mission by not killing a single enemy. For example to play on your own 'manual' hard setting: Remove your trinkets completely, and use the Tech 1 guns, the one's that jam. Anyway, You can challenge yourself by limiting your special abilities. ![]() ![]() This has the same difficulty as the Bioshock series (Same engine by the way! awesome). ![]()
